NRS Healthcare has been commissioned to provide the Community Equipment Service in Blackburn with Darwen and will deliver, collect, maintain and repair community equipment in the area.
If you have equipment on loan that is currently still in use, please continue to use your equipment for as long as you need it. If you think your equipment is due to be serviced, or if you think the equipment might require some repair, please contact NRS Healthcare to arrange this.
If you have equipment in your property that is no longer needed or no longer used by the person it was loaned to, please contact NRS Healthcare to arrange a collection. Alternatively, you may wish to return the equipment yourself. If you are able to do this, please return it during opening hours.
Some equipment does not need to be returned because it is low value, such as walking frames and commodes, and we are unable to re-use it. You will have been told if this is the case, but if you are unsure, please contact NRS Healthcare or the health or social care professional that assessed you.
