NHS Blackburn with Darwen Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organisation responsible for planning and buying health care services for the residents of Blackburn with Darwen, is inviting members of the public to their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 6 September 2017.
Graham Burgess, CCG Chair, said: “The AGM gives us the opportunity to reflect on our work over the past year. Once again, this year has been a challenging one for us; we have had to make some significant changes and some extremely tough decisions under difficult circumstances.
“Our priority remains being open and transparent, not only about these challenges but the opportunities we have also, and the work we undertake to ensure the population of Blackburn with Darwen are confident that we are securing the best possible health services on their behalf.”
Members of the public, partners and staff are invited to learn more by attending the AGM at 11am on Wednesday 6 September at Blackburn Central Library (meeting rooms 1 and 2), Town Hall Street, Blackburn. BB2 1AG. Following this, the regular CCG Governing Body monthly meeting will take place at 1.30pm.
