Covid-19 Update – Governing Body meetings
Whilst under normal circumstances the public are able to attend our Part 1 Governing Body meeting which is held in public, Government social isolation requirements constitute ‘special reasons’ to avoid face to face gatherings as permitted by legislation, therefore until further notice all Governing Body meetings will be held virtually by default.
Governing Body meetings are currently taking place virtually via Microsoft Teams. If any members of the public have access to Microsoft Teams and wish to use this facility to dial in to Part 1 of the meeting as an observer, please contact Anne Holden via email : email@example.com
Regarding public questions, we are happy to continue to take any questions received electronically at the end of Part 1 of the meeting, however we may need to defer any questions should the focus of the meeting need to be prioritised in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Please submit any advance questions within 5 working days of board meetings by e‑mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org
A response will be sent directly to the individual who raised the question. Part 1 agenda papers and minutes will continue to be published under the relevant meeting date as normal.
Governing Body Meetings
The Governing Body has responsibility for ensuring that the Clinical Commissioning Group has appropriate arrangements in place to exercise its functions effectively, efficiently and economically and in accordance with the Clinical Commissioning Group’s principles of good governance.
Our Governing Body Meetings of NHS Blackburn with Darwen CCG are public events and you are welcome to attend.
