NHS Commissioners from Pennine Lancashire want to hear your views on the Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) service.
A review is being carried out into the two community services which are currently delivered by Blakewater Healthcare in Blackburn with Darwen and East Lancashire.
Commissioners, who are working jointly across Blackburn with Darwen and East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group, are looking to create a one Pennine Lancashire service for patients with suspected DVT.
Blakewater Healthcare provides a holistic one stop shop approach for patients with suspected DVT for patients living in East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen
Commissioners want to hear the views of people who have used the service, which is delivered either at Roe Lee Surgery in Blackburn or Burnley General Hospital.
Dr David White, clinical lead from the CCGs, said: “We are currently reviewing this service and your views are important to us. We would like to hear from patients of the service to understand their experience of the service, to feed into how we design the service in the future.”
