Have you got a story to share about health services? We want people across the Blackburn with Darwen area to share their experiences of the NHS, good or bad.
NHS Blackburn with Darwen Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding a listening event at Barbara Castle Way Health Centre on Thursday 20th March 2014 from 9am until 11am to give the public the opportunity to tell the CCG what they think of local health services.
Drop in sessions will take place throughout March and any feedback from patients, public, carers and families will be used to help develop and improve future services. Dates for these further events will follow.
Dr Chris Clayton, Clinical Chief Officer of NHS Blackburn with Darwen CCG, said: “We are keen to build on the good response we have had at our previous events. We really value the experiences and opinions of our local residents and want to give people the opportunity to share their experiences, good or bad, in an informal setting.
“I want to urge as many people as possible to come along and tell us what they think of local NHS services so we as a CCG know what is working well and which areas we could further improve.
“This feedback is invaluable to and helps us to shape health services so that they meet the needs of people across the Blackburn with Darwen area, now and in the future.”
If you have any questions about the events please contact the CCG on 01254 282000.
